I've been updating parts of the website (mainly the pages under "Web Wonders"). I just thought I should explain the system I'm going to use for my recommendations regarding movies on the "Movies" page. Hopefully, this system makes my comments more convenient and helpful for you.
The "Reason to Watch" section tells you why I thought it was a good movie worth watching.
The "Done Well" section comments on what the movie did well. This includes the general quality of acting, production, and writing (and I typically point out any major flaws in these areas). It also includes any elements that the movie handled really well (especially regarding things that the film industry usually portrays immorally, ex. romantic relationships, etc).
And the "Cautions" section explains things which I think you should be aware of when you are deciding whether you should watch the movie or not.
In the future I may decide to add an official rating scale in order to more accurately indicate the degree of quality or severity, and to make the movies easier to compare. (Perhaps this would use numbers, ex. 1-5, or maybe it would use words, ex. ok, decent, good, great, etc). However, right now I'm just focusing on the system outlined above.
